Co-owners and friends Pamela Hill and Lois MacKenzie purchased and remodeled a beach home on the Oregon coast with a shared modern aesthetic. The kitchen features Philippe Starck’s Charles Ghost stools, graphic Tres Tintas wallpaper and Schoolhouse Electric Co. glass socket Lewis pendants over the island. “ We put our money into the things that will last the longest—stone tile, fixtures.” The result is a place that feels magical: “The kids fly kites, build sand castles, and toast marshmallows on the beach at night”.
