At Schoolhouse we seek out as much inspiration as we can soak in each and every day. At the start of a seasonal planning session, we always begin with a call to action. Everyone in our studio is asked to submit ideas, inspiration, screenshots, color swatches - anything that speaks to them to kick-off our development cycle. For our Spring/Summer '16 launch this year, we found ourselves focused on four main concepts, which we'll be sharing in this Inspiration-to-Room series. Our first source of inspiration for this season was bold geo and pops of color.
Playful and energizing, small bursts of color and bold geo patterning bring humor and charm to a neutral color palette. Rich tangerine accents, bright blues and sixties-inspired graphics all work together to bring American Modern design back in to the the spotlight.

We love the bright and friendly feel with a hint of vintage and nostalgia. It feels like the home of your sweetest, most fun friend who's always having people over and making them fizzy cocktails.
